I purchases a titorial CD-ROM that was promoted on television as FREE. A one time shipping charge was listed as $6.95. About 3 weeks after I got the CD-ROM, I saw a charge of $59.95 on my credit card statement. I called the video professor. They said that I had to return a seperate CD to them, or be billed the $59.95. I did not know about the "returning a second CD-ROM " part until I saw the bill on my card. They refused to refund my money, but did agree to send me another CD-ROM ( I threw the first one away).

I too got the free CD-Rom from Video Professor, but I took the initiative to read the enclosed literature to find that I would be billed for one of the CD's enclosed if I didn't send it back. I also called to ensure that was all I had to do in order to prevent future billing. The CSR was very helpful; I returned the CD-Rom within the 30-day trial period, and had no problem with them. The product I got from them was good too. THIS IS NOT A RIP-OFF.
