My xbox 360 decided one day it didn't want to display its video. I could hear everything, but couldn't see anything on my televison. My warranty was expired so I decided to use www.videogamefixer.com to repair my unit. I emailed them asking for a quote, this email was responded to withint 24 hours. They claimed I would need a new video scaler chip which would cost about $95 including return shipping ( I latere came to find out that the scaler chip cannot be replaced without permantly damaging the motherboard of the machine). I paid $20 to ship my machine to them, thenpaid the $95 return fee. Thier web site claims 1-2 day turn around on a repair, even by mail.

March 26th they receive my system. I email them over the next 4 days to ensure it was received by them, and to ask for a general time I could expect to get my xbox 360 back. Three weeks later I have a package sitting on my porche. MY XBOX! YEAH! I was excited! I got the box opened, noticed the machine was disgusting ly filthy and plugged it in...and then i heard a jet taking off...or wait..no, thats my xbox?! Needless to say, I was a little angry. My xbox was extremely quiet when I sent it to them. I still played on, after about 10 minutes the machine froze up. I tried again, 10 minutes later frozen.

I emailed them again (notice a pattern here? yeah, they don't return any phonecalls) and informed of the situation. Two days pass, no answer. Finally, after I advise them I will be contacting the Arizona BBB do I get a responce. I advise them that this is not my system, I can tell by the dvd tray being different and the loud dvd drive. They ask me for my original serial number, which I obviously don't know. Without that number (which now was my responsibilty to keep track off?) my machine is gone. They advise me to send back the one they sent me, and they will find a better one. I comply, and send it back.

Two weeks again pass with no contact. Another box ends up on my porch. I again open it, to find the faceplate broken, and againt he machine is filthy. I plug it in, and it seems ok, very quiet. Then, 10 minutes in...freezes. I email them and ask to have my money refunded, as I was fed up at this point. I have yet to hear from them, its been a week and a half. I am fed up. Two months being treated like garbage from a customer service based company, and now ripped off. I am back where I started, a broken xbox 360 but now I am out $115 ($95 + $20 shipping). Do not use this company...you will not be happy and you will regret it every day. Pay a little extra money and use Microsoft!
