ViewSonic Unreachable Support Service Walnut California

After buying a 26" TV from Viewsonic, I found the remote did not work. I went to file for warranty work at their website. The support email redirects you to a new online warranty registration. I filled all the information twice and wrote separately to their support service. Two weeks later, still no response.

I tried calling on their 800 number (800-688-6688) and waited 1 hr., after being warned that the wait time was in excess of 30 min. I finally hung up. I called again several days later, this time the warning was that the wait time is 'in excess of 60 minutes'. I hung up.

I wrote to Duane Brozek, Director, Public Relations (Duane.Brozek@ViewSonic.com), no response.

I wrote to Dana Brzozkiewicz, Senior Public Relations Specialist
(Dana.Brzozkiewicz@ViewSonic.com), NO response.

Apparently they refuse to address warranty issues. They do not respond to their own warranty request page; they do not answer their phone support lines; they do not respond to any email requests.

If you buy one of their products, they wait it out until you get so disgusted waiting for warranty work that you just give up. This allows them to sell shoddy equipment, state that they will support it, but in reality you're stuck with a bad piece of electronics.

I think that some heavy legal action should be aimed at them for the way they treat their customers.
