Most folks know a timeshare is not a solid purchase.
Yet i was fraudulently induced to purchase a VILLA GROUP del Arco TIMESHARE
on the basis of PRICE STABLITIY.
The promise was both oral and written.
I WROTE a certified letter to VILLA in San Diego... and 9 emails
Even Villas Nevada office sent an inter office communique to Villa...
NO ANSWER , EVER... no customer contact.
About 7 weeks later the REP'' finally called me.
she admitted, YES, the GOld PROGRAM has been a real problem for us.
IT ruins the re-sale stability...etc.
She never called back.
THIS COMPANY conduct s MATERIAL MISREPRESENTATIONS
of fact.
p.s. MY purchase was at least 800 % MORE than the current RE SALE VALUE.
DO NOT BUY.

Timeshare scams are very common these days, and they should never be considered as an investment or a solid purchase. Timeshares need to be looked up as a purchase and not an investment. Regardless of how timeshares are presented, they dont perform as well as a house or stock investment. If you look around the resale market for timeshares on websites like EBay, Redweek, or TUGBBS will find that you can buy a timeshare for far less money than what the first owner purchased it for.
