When I closed on my new home last winter, I paid Jewett Abstract Company (located at 706 Forest Avenue in Staten Island, NY) $24,000 to file my property deed with the Richmond County Clerk and pay my abated property taxes with the New York City Department of Finance.
I recently discovered that this despicable company failed to file my deed, and never paid my taxes! Nobody knows where my money went, and the city tells me that there is now a tax lien on my property! The company cashed my check and NEVER PAID ANYBODY ANYTHING!
Jewett Abstract Company, and it's owner, dishonest Attorney Vincent J. Gallo, absolutely refuse to help me in any way, and hangs up the phone on me whenever I call. I am now in the process of filing a lawsuit against the company and Mr. Gallo in order to recover the money which he stole from me!
UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AND LIED TO BY A THIEVING RAT, AVOID JEWETT ABSTRACT COMPANY AND VINCENT J. GALLO LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I found this on a web site because of his tax scam a 800 number that bills you to a phony tax the number is 800-581-0628. Just look it up.

I am very sorry that you all have been robbed by these 2 criminals! I was on this site back in May 2010, I can't believe what is posted since then. Vincent J. Gallo is very dangerous and very smart! I have know him for many, many years now! What you people are saying, everyone here in Staten Island has known for years, yet for whatever the stupid mentality was.. IE.." Mind my own business" is common!

2. He is the owner (besides many others, but this is a big one) of the Mall at Victory BLVD. in Staten Island, NY It is the old DMV building with Wendy's in it!
3. They own a home (Vacation home which they spend alot of time at and Vince LOVES this home)

I hope this is very helpful to anyone who has been robbed by him! I also want to see him disbarred an thrown in jail where he belongs! He has robbed FAR to many people to keep doing this!

AGAIN, PLEASE remember that he is full of himself and loves his possessions so going after his "TOYS" or "His accumulated vast wealth" will be the biggest hurt for him!
