Beware of Epsilon Auto Sales

I bought a 2004 Ford F-250 from them. 20 Miles down the road the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I brought it to the local Ford dealership and a Diesel Tech diagnosed my problem. The light was on for a number of codes he explained. The repair would consist of 2 injectors, an EGR valve, an EGR cooler, and an oil cooler. This repair was quoted at over $4000. I immediately called Epsilon Auto Sales and explained that I didn't sign up for all these problems and I wanted to return the vehicle and be refunded my money. Jason the salesman said to hang on and when he came back he said he talked to the "owner" and he stated that I bought the truck "as is" and there was nothing they could do for me.

The bill of sale clearly has a box that needs to be checked for an "as is" sale and it was not. However, this company advertises a 3 month 3,000 mile warranty which they will not honor. This same promise of a warranty was in the PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL USE PERMIT BOARD MEETING minutes.  Vincent Pigula the owner obviously lied to the public about his intentions to warranty his vehicles. Mr. Pigula stated that his intent is to sell good, reliable used cars to the public, with prices in the range of $4000-$15,000. He said he intends to procure the automobiles from local auctions and will sell them with a minimum of a three month, 3,000 mile warranty.

I asked to talk to the owner personally and was directed to send an email and someone would respond. Its been 2 days and I haven't heard anything. I went to Epsilon Associates and found the owner sitting at the table. I explained to him that I wanted my money back immediately and he told me to contact my lawyer.

The truck is inoperable and Vincent Pigula should honor his warranty and fix the truck or take it back.

I, Vincent A. Pigula, did not own the Epsilon Auto Sales that sold this truck in the complaint.  I turned over the dealership to a different corporation, and that company kept part of the name,  I operated under Epsilon Associates Auto Sales and the new owner operated under Epsilon Auto Sales.  Vincent A. Pigula was not the owner/operator of this auto sales company at the time of the sale of this truck.  My name should not be associated with this transaction.  I am no longer in the sale of automobiles.  Thanks Vincent A. Pigula

“this company advertises a 3 month 3,000 mile warranty”

Posted on their website:

”Most vehicles come with a 90 day/4,000 miles warranty: Extended warranties available”

What are terms of your written warranty?

I was never given any paperwork except the bill of sale. I paid cash. There is no additional paperwork from the dealer including warranty paperwork.
