Complaint Review: Vintage Exteriors

I just want everyone to know that Vintage Exteriors is a joke. This guy named Rob Grey owns the company. He gave a good estimate; yet when it came time for him to do the work, I found out what he was about.

I needed my roof repaired from the ice damage it sustained over this past winter, when a branch from my tree banged up my roof, causing the roof to leak.

Rob said he could fix it for $900. I gave him $300 for materials upfront. The next day, he pulls in the driveway(I was mowing the lawn), rolls down the window, and all this pot smoke rolls out of the cab like some "Cheech and Chong" movie!! He got out of the truck and asked me if I wanted to "Wake and Bake"!!??!! I told him I never operate machinery under the influence; his response was "Some people can't handle it, I'm a real man"!! Needless to say, I told him I did not want him working
on my roof high out of his gourd; Rob shot back with "Dude, I'm insured..chill out, it's only pot"! I told him to come back on Sunday---SOBER!!

Sunday came around; Rob stunk like cheap cologne, and was popping breath mints left and right. He swore he was "Sober", and proceeded to attempt to carrying some roofing up the ladder. He made it to the fourth rung, , crashed flat on his back, and passed out!! I though he was hurt. It turns out that it was "Just the Panama Red, from last night making me sleepy"(as he put it).

That was the last straw. I can't have some stoner killing themselves on my roof. I told him to pack up and leave, or I was calling the cops.

I got stuck with the $300 worth of materials.
It worked out ok, it saved the next roofer the trip to the Home Depot.

Stay away from this company.
