I was sent to a website in attempts to get a free laptop, if I filled out some information to get a credit card too. The company, VIP Advantage, or I-Card Services, tells you to send them $159.00, and they'll send you a gold credit card with up to $10,000.00 credit limit on it. They take your money ASAP, but they take between 3-5 weeks minimum to send the card to you.

After all the waiting, I finally was able to get in contact with the company, and they told me that the terms and conditions said that you have 72 hours to request a refund and that after that, you cannot get your money back. I printed a copy of the terms and conditions (that wasn't on the website I went to pertaining the laptop) and they said that it doesn't even improve your credit rating or enhance it. You send them your money, you wait for them to credit YOUR account, then you wait for YOUR approval to use and spend YOUR own money. Which makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

So, when you see an ad on the internet promoting free laptops, stay away!!! It's not true, they just want your money, and are determined not to give you anything for it other than a less amount of your money in your bank account. And if you do decide to do it, make sure that if you don't like it, request you money back well before the 72 hour refund window is closed. I lost my money, don't be the next one to fall for something that is definately too good to be true!!!!!
