Scott Worman is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California. Verify for yourself at the Bureau of Real Estate (formerly Department of Real Estate).
Any property management company in business for this many years will have a few tenants moving out who question the written documentation provided to them regarding security deposits. This is what small claims courts are for. It allows the facts to be presented and decided by a judge. Going to small claims court isn't an admission any wrong doing occurred.
