VIP Member Store BUYER BEWARE - Double charging for night vision glasses and unauthorized Buyer's Club Membership. California
I ordered a pair of Night Vision HD driving glasses - 2 pairs for $29.95. They charged me $59.90 and automatically signed me up for the Buyers club at $6.95 a month. When I placed my order on-line, I was not allowed to verify my order before agreeing to the purchase. I had no idea I was being chaged $59.90. I received an email thanking me for signing up for the Buyers Club.
I checked my account and saw I was charged double for the glasses. I called immediately and had them cancel the club membership. I was advised that I would be issued a credit for the second set of glasses. That NEVER happened. I disputed the charge with the CC company, but VIP charged my account again for $59.90. I called back a second time. They denied that it was 2 pairs of glasses for $29.95 and that I was only charged for the 2 pairs of glasses at $29.95 each that I received. AND the glasses are cheap, cheap, cheap. BUYER BEWARE - MAJOR SCAMMER.
