1-24-10. I contacted the information/sales/customer service phone number 800-588-0135. I spoke to a female sales rep named "Rise", I was charged $80.00 for the fee of gaining access to the website so i will have exclusive listings to properties that are listed as a lease with an option to buy. During the conversation, she was watching a football game. She said that the office has flat screen tv's all around and that they are supposed to have the stock report on but they are watching the game. She kept interrupting me as we were trying to navigate through the website and was cheering when there was a touch down and commenting to someone that Bret Favre is her "Boo". We asked to cancel the transaction because of her unprofessionalism, she said "call customer service" and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another female who i think was "Rise" but called herself "Nicole Taylor", i tried explaining to "Nicole/Rise" that I have never dealt with a company with such unprofessionalism and asked for her direct manager and "Nicole/Rise" ended the call. I called back again and simply asked the female who answered for "Nicole/Rise's" direct manager and was hung up on again. Watch out for this companies sales tactics and do not give them your payment information.

I read this whole report and am TRULY concerned first, by the fact that this sales employee, who is a representative of this agency would deign to post so many responses to an upset customer in such an unprofessional, disrespectful and seemingly uneducated manner.  My goodness, don't post something if you're in a hurry when Spellcheck only takes a moment!  Leave the complaints to the Customer Service Department and let the Sales Department continue to try to rip people off.

Secondly, I was contemplating paying the $80, which was stated to me as being a "one-time fee," but listened to the voice in my head telling me to do the research first.  The $80 fee is MONTHLY -- pure and simply, a lie was told and I'm sure that I'm not the first person to whom it was told.

Third, there are a multitude of complaints against this company and it's "alternate ego" company names!  If you have paid your money to this company and found them to be crooks, please don't repeat the mistake and pay any monies to anyone else!  As much as these "salespeople" have a responsibility to "sell" their product, we as consumers have a responsibility to do our homework as well and make educated purchases.  Yes, I've been burned before so I'm speaking from experience.

Lastly, Nicole/Rise/Barbara/whoever you are... I'm glad you mentioned rising the bar in rebuttal #11.  It's not like it can go any lower, based on your efforts at rebuttal, so maybe there's a chance your company won't be shut down for such shoddy behavior.  There are far too many examples to take the time to point them out individually.  It's sad, really.

Again you don't deserve the refund and you got  charity from us. And...my time is my own. Its my clock. I work up to 12 hrs. sometimes a day. I am my own boss. 1099's usually are. AGAIN YOU ARE WRONG....THANK YOU. The reason I take my time to post here is to let the public know  how deligent and articulate  we  are.  I refuse to keep letting people people such as yourself write bad reviews about us without giving our side. YOU ACTUALLY LIED ABOUT WHAT I SAID ON THE PHONE REGARDING WHICH TEAM I WAS SUPPORTING and other points of reference.

 That way future customers/clients can read  both sides.  They still come to us as customers after reading HERE, in droves.My postings have acutually helped us. I set the record straignt.

It's amazing that a sales rep would chose to take the time to ridicule someone based on their incorrect grammar or punctuation. Again, is this the customer service you are looking for? Is this the kind of support you would pay for? The choice is yours. By the way, shortly after these series of emails, I was given a full refund. This company should fire these employees that are focused more on a rebuttal rather than professionalism. Who does this as an employee? If this company is reading my email, sometimes you can do alot more with fewer employees. It's sad that "Rise/Nicole Taylor" is probably sending this rebuttal while she is on the clock. She should be focusing on making the next customer happy rather than breaking down grammar, punctuation, correcting what team she is supporting, telling us what her job is not, etc.


Let's see how much more valuable time she takes up on a matter that is already closed and I have been refunded and she is still bitter.

Again you are wrong. You can start a sentence with a conjunction when not in a formal setting. This is clearly not a formal setting. YOU ARE WRONG AGAIN. I do make some spelling mistakes  because I am responding usually( not like you who probably have plenty of time on your hands )  in a  hurry, however my gramma is good.

 I am very professional.  I will continue to defend my company and keep raising the bar. We are not perfect but we strive to continuously try to help people. We do not scam. And ........you cannot get the listings we have because they are not foreclosures they are preforeclosures. There is a big difference, we also have rentals.

We all at VIP have to have background checks ,state and federal so you are wrong and secondly we have a detailed terms and conditions that each person has to accept in order to get into our site where all the properties are located. In this case which AS I do with everyone whom I register, I walk them through the terms and conditions and make sure they understand everything. In this case the lady read and understood what she read. But there again, it took her several trys on the other instructions. The depth of someones comprehension I don't  past judgement on unless I have a case like this one. BUT YOU ARE WRONG IN YOUR ASSESSMENT. AND OUT OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WHOM HAVE CALLED OUR SERVICE WHOM ALSO HAVE READ THIS , I HAVE GOTTEN POSITIVE FEEDBACK. INFACT OUR BUSINESS IS DOING VERY WELL AND WE ARE HELPING ALOT OF PEOPLE.  I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENT BUT IN ALL DO  RESPECT YOU ARE WRONG....WE ALL DO GET BACKGROUND CHECKS EVEN AS A 1099 CONTRACTOR....MAINLY BECAUSE WE HAVE TO TAKE CREDIT CARD NUMBERS.

I have read this entire report and since VIP Options was bragging about nobody responding, I thought I would take the time.

CONSUMERS - NEVER give your payment info to ANYONE without doing a thorough background check but especially anything real estate/finance related. The real estate and mortgage crisis has brought out some of the worst and dirtiest players around trying to take advantage of an already horrible situation. AT THE VERY LEAST, get a call back # for the representative you are talking to, HANG UP and do a Google search like I did. 1st thing that popped up after VIP Options website was this rip off report and I saved myself a lot of money but even more, saved myself an immense amount of frustration and retained some hope for humanity not having to go through this myself.

1- NEVER buy from an independent contractor selling product OR service! A company that only hires 1099 employees does not do background checks (background checks cost money) and since there is no investment in that employee (payroll taxes, benefits, etc.) they will hire ANYONE. They simply need a warm body to peddle their services.

2- Never buy from someone who calls themselves a professional but still starts many of their sentences with the word AND.

3- If you do make such a mistake, contact your bank and tell them you were victim of a fraudulent charge and request them to process a chargeback to your credit card. You will win the dispute because this is a "card not present" transaction and they have no documentation that you knowingly accepted the charges or were fully disclosed the terms of service. Documents rule here.

4- If you want information on Foreclosures, contact your bank and ask them if they have a listing. Never fall for one of these scams that simply would not exist if it weren't for others misfortune.

5- Sales people, don't work for a company that their entire business model relies on the misfortune of others (foreclosure). You can keep drinking the Kool-Aid and making yourself believe you're helping people but your bosses know the truth and they are taking advantage of you as much as they are their customers. In fact, it may be a pre-requisite at VIP Options that their sales people have poor sentence structure. Kool-Aid has a better effect this way somehow.

The lord does not like a thief and you paid for a list of homes  and now that you have the list you are trying to steal. How dare you bring the Lord into this when you are clearly wrong. You got a Bonifide list of properties with a detailed explanation on how to use the list You got your monies worth and now because you are a bully and want your cake and to eat it too. Yes this is a forum for people to vent but is also a fair forum because I get my say as well to paint you as the RIP OFF artist that you are in this situation. We have a few people like you who try to beat the system and I am here to articulate you as the rip off person.YOU PAID FOR A LIST ..... AND THAT IS ALL.AND THERE  ARE  NO REFUNDS AND  YOUR WIFE AGREED TO THAT WHEN SHE WAS REGISTERED. OUR POLICY IS  NO REFUNDS. SHE PAID FOR A 30 DAY TIME PERIOD  TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE SITE, NO MORE NO LESS THAN THAT.

It's people like you who are very cheap and want everything for free. You don't deserve a refund. And I hope the company does not give you a cent back. And if you do get the charity or excuse me if maybe you are in need. We do have a way to track people like you who take advantage of our list. And later call the clients on our list and move into their  properties. The clients do call us later and tell us who they have done business with and we cross reference the names with who have registered with us. So if getting by in life the crooked way is your MO  then so be it. But it will catch up with you. Just like this rip off report has. Notice no one has responded to your ad here because you are wrong. And not only am I right I was right in rooting for the SAINTS.... You did notice they won the Super Bowl.  Oh I forgot you and your wife don't like football. ..........You are ,out of my league.

"I should not have bent over backwards to educate and helped you and your wife"... should not be in a sales person's vocabulary. Just an update on this unprofessional fiasco.... I called VIP options to get a refund on 3 days after i gave my credit card information, i was told by customer support that VIP options has to "listen to the recorded call" in order to determine whether or not i can get a refund on my $80.00. Today is Feb 1st and i still have not heard from this company, i was also told by a customer support representative that if i called on a local number rather than a toll free 800 or 866 number, VIP options cannot pull this call. Does this make sense to you? why would this information not be advertised and why would this apparent "protocol" be so iffy? It costed me $80.00 to learn the hard way and even if i get a refund, which i am still asking for, Im glad you have taken the time to read this and i will continue to update the status of my refund. Beware of the football watching, backwards bending, name changing independent contractors that work for this company or better yet for themselves and have the audacity to say things like "it was a privaledge for me to walk you through the site in the first place AND to go into detail" and "I had  the game on to keep me calm" and "had to repeat the process over and over and over".... You be the judge when contemplating giving out your credit card info. Ill keep all you readers posted on the outcome whether positive or negative, thank the lord that there is a website where you can express yourself to this extent.

If you were more concern about current events you would know the BBB has been investigated for "Play to Play Schemes." Read the article on    Business Bureau Grades COMPANIES ON A PECULIAR CURVE  by David Lazarus in the Los Angeles Times.

The BBB has no credibilty just like yourself.  as far as I am concern and with that being said I should not have bent over backwards to educate and helped you and your wife.

Much to your own shagrin I am not an employee. I am an independant contractor. And I have over 30 years in sales. And my comments was not an admission of guilt it was how you and your wife tried to bully me and I was not having it. And the recording proves that.You tried to bring that to the situation. I politely told you to call customer service. It was a privaledge for me to walk you through the site in the first place AND to go into detail. But you are not and were not appreciative of my expertise. And to top it off you lied about the conversation and distorted what I said about the game. I talk to people all the time about current events as I am registering them. Your wifes comments about not liking football is what really preempted all of this coupled with the fact that she could not or did not grasp simple instructions. Why don't you just admit to that. After all her comments to that fact are on the recording.

Responding to the "She's a Saints fan and your an outright liar" comment that was made, it's quite obvious that "Rise/Nicole" is the same person and just admitted guilt to the situation i have described from 1-24-10. Would you (you reading this) feel comfortable giving out your credit card information to a person who has conducted herself and her business with such unprofessionalism. Don't fall victim to such unprofessionalism, keep your money and learn from my mistake. My advice to this company "VIP options aka VIP homes" is to terminate this employee and have a more thorough background investigation and training process because this "Rise/Nicole" has inspired me to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission to insure these types of unprofessional acts are not tolerated. Thank "Rise/Nicole" who now may have to change her name due to her limited education in sales/marketing/customer service/life.

First of all the lady that called in was very rude the whole time I was explaining to her what      the pocess was. I took my time very politely and  throughtfully with very detailed explanations even though its not my job to do this , she was suppose to go through customer service. Our customer service department was closed so I took my time and stayed on the phone with her for more than 50 minutes going into much detail.property by property , line by line. She was very snipy with me on several occasions. Which I put up with because I had  the game on to keep me calm. I never said Bret Favre was my Boo. Number one I don't use that type of vencular and secondly I was rooting for the New Orlean Saints. Reggie Bush was who I favored. So this guy is a complete liar. Thirdly the lady was very rude to me and when she realized that I had had just about enough of her rudeness when  I got quiet on the phone , she put her indignant  husband on the phone.  Who was a complete idiot with me. Yes, I hung up on him after I politely told him to call customer service in the morning. And my name is Not Rise nor Nicole and I don't use those  names. This guy is the one who was completely unprofessional.And his wife has the comprehension of a 6 year old. I had to repeat the process over and over and over. Most people can follow looking up property with ease.  I wish I could play the recording so you could hear what really took place.I  guess  THE HUSBAND  felt he could boss me around since he does it as a  credit card collector .  I was not putting up with his bullyish manner. Besides watching the game, which I have no regrets. All the other customers before these two had no problems watching the game nor me watching the game. Usually we have the news on , but with problems in Haiti on every minute, the game was surely a relief. I am glad the Saints won. And I will have the Super Bowl on come that Sunday. We have a good company which helps alot of people get into homes. And we are very professional.
