VEC IS DISHONEST, SECRETIVE AND MISINFORMING.

THE Virginia employment commission employed a bureaucrat named April S. Martinez from unknown until 2006 - 2008.  As reported before under April S. Martinez, April S. Martinez was a liar, harasser, telephoned me and wasted my valuable time and cost me potential clients.  When I turned her in to her employer, the VEC, a rep told me that she was not in the system.  I wrote the commissioner detailing all the violations, after 3-4 weeks, I received a curt reply that only said April Martinez was no longer with the VEC.  The commissioner did not detail if there was an investigation;  if her calls were monitored, nor whether she was fired or permitted to leave without sick pay, vacation pay or severance pay.  My person was violated as April S. Martinez, on I the taxpayer's funds, called me and wasted my time.  It was not long that I discovered this was not a business call.  My money was used to call me on a govt phone without authorization from her supervisors.   I have never received any satisfaction as to any investigation, the findings and whether she was using a govt phone to contact other men.  April S. Martinez later called me 15 times, tying up my business phone and preventing clients and potential clients from contacting me!  I was denied details and never told whether she was disciplined or terminated and whether they noted her actions when other potential employers contacted the vec.

The reports on the vec are accurate.  The vec is an evil, secretive organization that does not serve the public they purport to serve.

VEC FRAUD, DECEPTION, SECRECY:

The Virginia Employment Commission {vec} is a deceptive, secretive, evil sprawling bureaucracy that does a lot more damage to the public than helps job seekers, senior citizens, disabled, etc.

On Jan 12, 2012, I called the vec and asked to know where a fraudster and prankster was and whether she had quit or been fired.   The clerk said "she is no longer in the database".   I then wrote a detailed letter to the commissioner telling how I ran in to this bureaucrat harassment committed by April S. Martinez and how she tied up my business phone line with 14 needless and harassing telephone calls.  I told the commissioner I have a taxpayer right to know whether this employee had been fired, when and what other calls she had made on taxpayer funds.

My taxpayer money was used by April S. Martinez to make non-business phone calls.  The commissioner wrote only one sentence, which was what the clerk had told me on the telephone.  The vec is secretive and holier than thou - keeping information away from the public that makes their endeavor possible.   The vec did not tell me whether April S. Martinez had been fired, where she is now, whether she used a govt telephone and govt e-mail address to call others, the details, date and number of minutes, what her number is now, what her e-mail address is now, when her vec phone number was cut off, when her govt e-mail address was discontinued, when she resigned or was fired, where she moved to nor where she lives now.   As a taxpayer, I have a right to know.  I do not appreciate dark age mentality of only the govt knowing stuff and the public is treated as peasants and has "no right to know".  The govt has no right to worry about "being sued", but to be a vast and growing information source for the public.    You are accountable to we the taxpayers!    We are NOT accountable to you!
