DON'T buy from these horrible companies!!!! The purchase from hell !!!!!!!! .....

I bought the wonderful V2premier computer by Viscom from Shop NBC. They said you'll love it, any problems you get 1 year on site tech. 24 hour tech support, ya right. I bought it for the kids for Christmas, since they were going to ask Santa for a computer. $2149.95. Got it on 11/24/02 gave it on 12/25/02. both kids loved it and thought Santa was just great.

2 weeks later the mouse stopped working. Now after 50 days it still doesn't work. 28 calls to Viscom always atleast an hour on the phone. 3 techs out to my house. New mouse, 2 motherboards, new memory sticks, new floppy drive, new recovery disk. Still doesn't work.

2 calls to Shop NBC, not their problem after 30 days. I had to drive to UPS 6 times to "return the broken parts within 14 days or we will charge you for them" The part that really kills me the most is that my 8 year old and 3 year old were writing a letter to Santa today to tell him they hate him for what he has put Daddy through.

In Responce To all the negative stuff said about viscom I would like to point out a few things that lead up to the problems you all have with Viscom, and their machines. 1st The computer are cheep made from bottom of the line componets. 2nd I worked as a phone tech for these people and most of the techs there know alot of things about computers but we were forced to follow a script, and had our lovely manager screaming that no call should be more than 15 min long. And proboly the worst problem I know about this place it that only aproxmently 30 people are there to answer the phones so you have very long hold times. The moral of the story is never by a computer from and infomerrical, and if you do make shure you buy a name like dell or gateway, not some gereric POS.

I now am a feild service tech for a major warrenty provider. I know the issues with parts not fixing your system are a pain, but us feild techs can only work with what we are given.
