I entered the coaching with Short Sale Magic this year. The salesman was very convincing and I was very excited to start. They gave us a coach but the first session went wrong, the coach forgot to call, after not able to reach the coach I called the Short Sale Magic 888 number and they were trying to reach him. Finally after some time he called me. But he was always late for the coaching lessons anyway, the coaching was like he was reading it from the book which I had also, that's not a coach, I can have my son to read it to me. I asked them to give me a new coach but Tammy kept on insisting to have this coach (Doug Hatch). Then I was ready with the paperwork to present it to the bank, my coach went on vacation, he was only available by cell phone, he had a very bad reception and he was not able to review the documents. After being very frustrated with the bad reception Doug told me I had everything o.k. But now I know that it was not done the right way because the short sale didn't go through. He is a very lousy coach and I would not recommend it to anyone. To top it off, Doug sent me a certificate of completion and we didn't even complete the coaching lessons and when I called him he said that he spent too much time on me already. I called the 888 number and I requested another coach, which was not easy to get a new one but I kept on insisting until they gave me another coach but the short sale didn't go through already, the damage was done. The main thing for me was to do short sale for our house, the salesman of the company told us we could do. I also find the coaching materials not up to date and a lot of the paperwork I had to search for myself, it was not provided. My plan was to do short sale on our home and then continue helping other people as well but with a coach like that that was set to fail from the beginning. I also never received any phone calls from anyone asking how I'm doing and if I need any help. It is clear that they don't care about their students success only about their money. Don't make the same mistake and save your money.

Former student of Doug Hatch

First off, I was a former student of Doug Hatch and never had the problems with him as you describe. I spent well over $20,000+ with vision investing. I can say from first hand experience that Doug's sessions do not sound like he is reading from a book. Just because you turned in paperwork (short sale package) to the bank doesn't guarantee that the bank will accept your offer. Furthermore most banks will have nothing to do with the home owner on a pre-foreclosed property unless they are doing some kind of a special payment arrangement or bringing the loan current. You also mention that the coaching materials aren't up to date. How so? being set up to fail from the beginning is far from the truth. My experience with Doug has been AWESOME!!! I am 100% positive that If I were to call him today I wouldn't have any problems getting his help. Don't make the same mistake as this writer I rebutting, DON'T GET FORECLOSED ON YOUR HOUSE AND BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR MISTAKE. (for those of you that are in foreclosure or have been. I understand that life situations come up and it's not always in your control to fix the problem) I find it sad that someone is claiming Doug is a lousy coach because the bank didn't accept their short sale offer. Furthermore short sales are "Subject to" bank approval.
