Vision Labs/EpiClear Facial Spray rip-off! Eloit Maine
EpiClear Facial Spray distributed by Vision Labs. I haven't even used the product so I cannot say if it works as this incident just happened (May 13, 2004). What surprised me was when I tried to cancel to make sure that future shipments will not be automatically sent to me, I got a very rude agent on the phone. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me I can't. This, of course, made me do more research into this company.
I found a marketing violation from the Dept. of Health & Human Resources, Food & Drug Adm. cited against the company back in June 2002. Then I found your website and some irritated customers and read their comments. I am glad that the next shipment has not been billed so I canceled my VISA card to make sure I will not fall victim to their scheme. I also wrote a letter to them informing them to cancel my subscription for automatic shipment and that I absolutely do not want to have anything to do with them.
I will call them by phone to cancel as well. This way, I have my avenues covered. I read from the comments that the excuse they use is that they did not receive the phone calls canceling orders. No said the cancelations were not documented. I feel that I have to inform the public about incidents like this so that they can no longer victimize more people.
