Vista antivirus is a rogue program and a total fraud. Legitimate anti virus programs do not use popups or fake scans. The only defense users have against these kinds of scams is--when the popup appears on your screen--DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET IMMEDIATELY!! Do not click anywhere on the dialog box including the X. If you do chances are the program will download itself against the user's wishes. Again--legitimate companies do no use popups and 'free' scans. You should file a report with the FTC and the cybercrimes division of the FBI.
