Vista Cay Resort By Millenium deceptive advertising on website Orlando Florida
I thought I had researched extensively the customer reviews & ratings to ensure this vacation would be something special for my daughter's Christmas present. I went to the Vista Cay website before booking the condo to review the amenties. I paid $1200 for a 4-night stay in what was advertised as a community of condos & townhomes with "upscale furnishings and amenities" (quoted directly from their website). What I got instead was a moderately furnished townhome located next to a 4-lane highway. Little did I realize the townhome was 3 levels, thank goodness no one in my party was handicapped!! The master bedroom was on the 3rd level and I was awakened at 4:30 on Christmas morning to the sound of cars on the highway. My daughter stayed in the other bedroom on the 3rd level and was awakened in her bedroom to the sound of construction - hammering, large dump trucks, etc., at 6:30 on Christmas morning. The complex appears to be in an industrial section of town with one grocery store nearby.
I am very upset and disappointed with the amenities, the location of the property, and my entire experience at this resort. When speaking with the resort manager today he wanted to compensate me with a complimentary one-night stay at the resort. My reply to him "Why would I want to stay at your resort again when I wasn't satisfied the first time?".
I am listing below the complaints I have regarding the property:
