i make an appointment with this fleet manager at vista chevrolet. chris..he procedes to tell me pass the voltures standing outside and i will make it worth your while to come from henderson all the way out to ann/95. fine i go there on a saturday, my only day off and i bring my parents. granted i am 29 but i look young and i didn't want to get taking advantage of.

so my dad goes to buy a candy bar with my mom and chris goes..what did you bring your daddy for to beat me up. i was shocked and i said no i brought my dad to co-sign. long story short he showed me the new malibu which is way over priced and i decided not to buy it for that price. he got all mad because there was no sale. i could tell. im not paying 28,000 dollars for a car.

he could of worked with me if he wanted to sell a car. then i was so flustered by the bad customer service that i realized that i didnt have my license after the fact i drove all the way home. i talked with his manager mike and he proceded to tell me that it was my fault i left my license. i go to towbin dodge the next weekend and told them my horrible experience with vista chevrolet and they told me that they could be fined for not giving me my license back.

i will look into this because who knows who has my id or who could of copied it while it was there. there is a lot of identity theft in this state and i feel it should be the dealers responsibility to give your license back! i didnt even test drive the stupid car also. granted the towbin dodge salesmen are a great team and treat you with respect and i didnt need my daddy because i wasnt taken advantage of.

just a little fyi to everyone out there car shopping! and vista chevrolet has an envelope filled with licenses not given back. oh wait i forgot its our fault we didnt remember them...

Not sure what the problem was, Amy did not give enough information, fact is it's confusing. The only thing I agree with is Ann Rd & 95 is a long way for me also.

Looking at what was written:
1) bring parents - didn't want to get taking advantage of at Vista Chevy
2) I brought my dad to co-sign
3) Not paying 28,000 dollars for a car.
4) didn't have my license after the fact I drove all the way home
5) towbin dodge
6) And I didn't need my daddy because I wasn't taken advantage of.

OK I can understand bringing parents with you, but why would you think you needed them at Vista Chevy and did not need to bring them at Tobin Dodge?

Dad to co-sing, I can understand that also, you at 29. People of all ages have a problem with paying bills which will hurt your credit, and or you just wanted more car then you can afford. Many people have done that in the Housing market look at the foreclosures.

Don't want to pay $28,000 on a car, and then you were looking at the wrong car. The 2008 Malibu LS starts at $19,995, the LT starts at $21.280, The LTZ starts 27,445, and the Hybrid starts at $27,790 Optional equipment is extra.

You never said what kind of trade-in you had, were you upside down and had that added to the new car? You also did not say what kind of car you got at Towbin Dodge.

There is a difference in a 1970 VW and a 2008 Malibu (Note: The 1970 VW is just an example).

Driving home without your Drivers license, here we go again mistakes happen but let's forget about personal responsibility.

Your story had a lot of negativity with very little facts, too many unanswered questions.

My experience with Vista Chevy was great; they saved me over $2400 Vs a deal at Cramax.

Want to know more read my story at www.slotnotes.net I tell you what cars I was looking at, the trade-in and what I was looking for and the payments I wanted.

Amy, before you go out looking for a car, do what I did (do your home work); the internet search has a lot of good information.
