Vista Print Pop-up Offers during order processing Lexington Massachusetts
Vista Print threw in a pop-up offer for memberships to several affiliated companies during the processing of an order in June 2008. The affiliates are Today's Escapes, Passport To Fun, and MWI Business Max. I did not want the offer.
I was confused by the presentation of the offer and tried to close it out without signing up for it. I was unsuccessful because three charges showed up on my bank account yesterday.
These were to be recurring charges of $14.95 per month each. I immediately called the toll free numbers and had the memberships canceled. Only one said that the bank charge would be removed.
Today I called Vista Print Customer Service and to ask by what authorization these charges had been made. I then asked that the charges be removed.
When the representative came back on the phone, I was told that four charges had been canceled. I do not know what the fourth membership was.
I am now waiting to see whether my bank ends up processing the charges which would require that I file a fraud claim to get them removed. I do feel that this pop-up offer without details is an underhanded way to do business. This type of rip-off has been done by Vista Print for some years according to Rip Off Reports.
