Vita's Hair Studio is a SCAM, Overcharage alert! She isn't professionally skilled in hair weaving at all! Her netweave made my hair fall out! Lanham Maryland
First of all let me say I was a complete moron for falling for this scam and I have learned my lesson. I just want to share my experience in hopes of saving someone else's hair! Vita made my ultra flat net weave so tight that I looked like an African American Asian Woman for at least 2 weeks. It was so painful I wanted to take it out the first 2 days! It was so tight I developed sores at the base of my neck because the weave was pulling on my scalp. Keep reading.
Scam # 1 Vita leads you to believe she's an actual salon with real people working with her
Truth She's a one woman show in a tiny booth, there are no other employees
Scam #2 Vita says she offers specialized hair weaving services and cannot give you a specific price, but a wide price range
Truth She decides how much she's going to charge you when she sizes you up and determines how much you can actually afford, in my case, it was $750!!!
Scam #3 Vita says that your hair will be healthier at the end of the 3 month time period while you leave the weave in your hair.
Truth I am now bald on the top of my head, my hair is now in worse shape than when I came to her.
Scam #4 Vita says you can actually reuse the hair she's just charged you an arm and a leg for
Truth I took the itchy horrible looking matted mess out of my hair after 1 month and there was no way she could have gotten it out and reused the hair!

I am new to the area and have always been very apprehensive about allowing new people to do my hair. From the beginning, Vita took her time to make sure I understood the entire process and that she understood exactly the look I was aiming to achieve. However, I will say she is more expensive than the traditional black salon, but trust me, it was worth every penny. My hair looks so beautiful and I am extremely happy with her services. Vita is very detail oriented and extremely passionate about her work. If are looking for a high-quality weave, with a classy and undetectable look. Look no further, Vita is your girl.
