Complaint Review: Vivint

I signed up for home security service with apx now vivint alarm, I was told it was a 2 year deal I was also told that they were working on a new garage door monitor and when they had it they would install it as part of my contract, a year and a half latter they still say they are working on the monitor and the salesman Brian didn't write it down so when it comes out they would love to sell it to me and I would have to pay to have it installed. When I told them I wanted to cancle my service because I had been lied to they told me that my contract was for 4 years and I would have to pay $1200.00 to cancel. Make sure they write everything down and read it close or better yet use (((competitor's name redacted))) or (((redacted))) they are # 1 and 2 in customer satifaction.

 sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
