Vivint Security System  Door-to-door sales person come to my neighborhood and lied to get me to switch from ADT security! Internet

Door bell rung one Wednesday evening after work.  Salesman at the door trying to show us a security system. Already with ADT.  Husband listens to sales pitch, salesman used camera as a topping.  Didn't decide to get system until Saturday.  Salesman offer to pay duration of contract with ADT of $160.00 credit to our first bill.  Got installtion, salesman now wants to set up automatic payment by check draft, husband gave salesman a check from inactive account.  I'm glad, because there has been problems with the system and camera from day one. 

Technican was supposed to repair problem, over six months disputing repairs and no credit for switching on other system.  When talking to billing and customer care staff rude and unprofessional.  Company don't seem to care about the security of my home, but just ripping off the customer, or getting their money first, then trying to credit back monies after they get their money.  I asked them to come back and get their equippment and cancel the account.  They said they couldn't but they can terminate the service.

Vivant was very forceful and over bearing in the sales stage.  They have not tried to help me as the customer in this matter, and  I have to get a negative credit report and call CPI for home security.

Search lots of security companies and read your contracts.
