I bought a 47" vizio two weeks before I went away for a year and it was not watched the ENTIRE time that I was gone when I came home I watched it for three days and it started flickering with lines naturally I only had a one year warranty so it had expired. They wanted the amount of $225 to fix the tv BEFORE the service was rendered which I find odd. and wanted me to write my credit card information down on a piece of paper and mail it back to them. Well I finally did all of this and it says on the paperwork that if it was the panel they would refund my money. well a guy came out here and tried to repair but couldn't said he would send pictures to vizio and let them decide what they wanted to do. well days went buy and I heard nothing I called repeatedly with no response. I finally sent a well-worded HATEFUL letter to vizio telling them if they do not return my call or update me on what was happening with my TV or my money I would be contacting an attorney. Well they got another guy out here within two days and now. I am still on my refund. If I get it. But the guy that couldn't fix my tv said he would buy the TV for 5 to ten dollars he could use the parts. YEA RIGHT. This is absolutely absurd my tv ran for approximately 2 and half weeks and shut off but my warranty had lapsed and now I am out the 650 I paid for the TV plus the 225 I paid to get it fixed. how does that seem right
