I purchased two television from this manufacturer and without warning they both quit working.  The first one a 60 inches stopped about 2 years ago.  The second just stopped about two weeks ago, I did get a noticed that they were discontinuing their affiliation with YouTube and I would no long be available to view Youtube from that device and I thought okay but instead of Youtube being discontinued the whole set stopped working with out warning.

 

I called Vizio about the 60 inch and they informed me I would have to pay over $400.00 for repairs by their recommended service association and the tv wasn't even a year old.

 

I have an older model tv which I am now glad I didin't get rid of that I have had for over 20 years no problems of this sort.

 

All total I am out of $1500.00 because of their defective merchandise and after some research found out that I am not the only one.  I want my money back.  Had they done research and development on their merchandise I thoroughly believe that they were probably aware of these issues but elected to sell them anyways ripping out consumers.

They should be held accountable for the merchandise they manufacture and return the full price to customer that purchased their products.  When you buy a television you expect years of use, I nor others that brought their tvs and other electronics had no way of knowing that their product is as unrealiable as they are and we should all be refunded in full for our money, frustration and mispresentation Vizio has done to the public at large.
