We moved to a new apartment and wanted to get the Dish Network Satellite System. We went online and found VMC offering what seemed like a pretty good deal. We put down a $50 deposit (so we thought). The installer came- he obviously did not know what he was doing. He could only get a 25% signal but told us this was all we needed.

The system didn't work and went out every minute or two. We were told by Dish Network we had 36 hours to cancel. We contacted Dish Network right away asking to get a different installer, it was a holiday weekend and VMC was closed. There was no one to come out within the 36 hour window so we cancelled. VMC informed us that our $50 would not be refunded because we had PURCHASED a "FREE" INSTALLATION CERTIFICATE for $50! If it is FREE then how can it COST $50? VMC said we used our "FREE" Installation Certificate and can't get our money back!

The system was never installed properly! The idiot that put in the system didn't even tighten the nuts down so the dish was swinging in the wind! This company is a SCAM! Contact Dish Netwrok and tell them you have been ripped off- ask them to remove VMC as a vendor! Contact your local news! Contact the Federal Trade Commission! This is ROBBERY!
