In April, 2009, as stipulated in our contract with VNI, we submitted our reservation request form for 2 weeks in August along with the required advance deposit.  When, in late June, we still had no acknowledgement either of our request or receipt of payment, we began to wonder what kind of service we had bought.

Our 2 vacation weeks passed without any arrangement being made.  Repeated phone calls to VNI only resulted in our being passed from one person to the next (Krystal Middleton, Raven Morrison and Carol Gaddy)  After it was too late for us to make plans for the weeks we had hoped to use for recreation, we were informed that we could get a refund of the deposit and go hunting for "excess inventory" on our own.  We didn't get our money back until September.

We have subsequently written a letter demanding withdrawal from membership in VNI and return of the nearly $4,500.00 we paid them to join.  The reply consisted of a phone call in which we were told what WE should have done to make things convenient for THEM.

To add insult to injury, we have gotten 2 bills from Duvera Financial for an ANNUAL SERVICE CHARGE of $290.52 which we didn't pay, there not having been any service.

We were then turned over to a collection agency. This was too much! We consulted our lawyer, who discovered, among other things, that VNI wasn't even licensed to do business in our state at the time of the sale to us.
