VO Financial Frank LaPalomento I payed them 5000.00 to get me out of my timeshare because I never have used it nor could I afford it anymore and that is what the company said there speciality was Egg Harbor Township New Jersey
On May 30th 2012,I signed a contract with VO Financial saying they would get me out of the contract I had with Wyndham that I was pressured into I feel in the first place to purchase,. I paid on this timeshare for roughly 3 years or so 230.00 plus maintaince fees also. Never used it owed 10,000 at the time and the said the would take care of everything if I paid them half of what I owed. At the time they financed half of the 5000. And I put the other half on my discover card thinking all was taken care of. Called them numerous times cause kept getting my monthly bills and they said that they would take care of it in 175 days and for me not to do anything. I called them back after that and the man I spoke with said that the other guy had moved on to another department in another state but he assured me that he would do his best to help me so once again I sent him the bills I was getting by fax and he said to give him time to check out everything .i didn't get a bill from Wyndham for a couple months after that but then I started getting them again saying I was really behind on my payments so I called them to tell them I had hired VO to take care of this matter for me and they said they hadn't had a record of that but they would note that so a couple months went by again and I started getting more outstanding bills so once again I contacted them and he assured me it was taken care of but it wasn't noted on my credit yet. Well it's still on my credit now as outstanding and I have never used it and I can't afford it .It is showing up on two of my credit reports but not the third. It's not something I wanted and I felt pressured into buying it at the time. I'm still paying on my credit card but of course they ,VO has been paid in full for something they claimed they would take care of because that's what they do,but they haven't one anything. I as trying to do the right thing and tell them both that I had made a huge mistake and got into something I have regretted ever since. I still have never used it .its still on my credit report as no payments which I still cannot afford nor do I want it. The timeshares themselves are a rip off by pressuring you into buying them in one afternoon of setting you up to listen to them on how good they are but I don't get vacations enough to justify paying almost 400. A month for. I would have heck of a vacation if I could spend 400.a month . That in itself is unrealistic . I just want out . I want this off my credit I want nothing more to do with co that just want my hard earned and I do mean hard earned.money. If there is a way to have this happen thru letting others know what scum these people are I hope you can. Thank you for your time

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Tue, December 27, 2016
Dear Bridget,
I came across this and immediately needed to respond to your report regarding the services via VO Financial Corp.. I want to start by saying I am sorry for the lack of customer service in which you recieved after my resignation from the company. Unfortunately I had to quickly sever ties with VO Financial Corp. as the owner was misleading the employees including myself regarding VOF's legal troubles.
I personally had to resign in April of 2013 and could not have any further communications with VOF clients. The company was soon shut down after my departure. Sadly enough there were many clients whom I will never know if they were managed properly after my resignation.
I read your report and it seems as if Wyndham used a typical scare tactic to convince you to continue to pay payments. Again I want to say that I am deeply sorry for the situation and I would like to be able to speak with you regarding your current timeshare ownership.
Although I am no longer employed by the company, I can still extend to you the information in order to get out from underneath this as I would have if I were allowed to see your case through after my resignation. Of course this would be of no cost reiterating that I do not work for VOF in any capacity as they are no longer in business and I do not work for a timeshare ddeveloper or company of the sort.
If you'd like you can reach me at f.lapal87 @ gmail.com and I'd be more than happy to speak with you regarding the matter.
Also this repsonse was not to solicit a retraction, but simply to help someone who deserved the services she paid for.
Best Regards,
Frank
