I'll make this short and sweet; Avoid Vocalocity like the plague. While the technology is theoretically cool, it doesn't work for a d**n. This would be okay if they employed capable customer service and technical support staff that could effectively respond to the issues, but they don't. Here is the bottom line:

* The phones have issues at least once a day with resetting, sound quality, etc.

* Once a month there is an outtage of at least an hour

* Many of the features do not work, like the call queue that locks out users. This is terrible since the caller will never be answered since the phones attached to the queue just don't ring. Not only does your customer think you are not answering, but Vocalocity also bills you for all the queue minutes.

* Ah, yes, billing. Good luck talking to someone there. Ironically this is the only thing that never fails, the timely monthy bill.

* "Customer service" and "tech support" do not answer calls and hide behind Caller ID. At best, if you are "lucky", they will send you an email. Even their General Manager, David Politis, won't return your calls or emails, even if you let him know that you are going to cancel.

I am in the process of cancelling all my service with them. This is complicated and costly after having purchased their equipment and ported numbers over to them, but the reality is that it is worth the cost to get away from them.
