VOGUE PATTERNS BOUGHT PATTERN PARTS DIDN'T FIT NATIONWIDE
Middle May 2007, I bought a Vogue pattern, nr 7387, size 8-12, from a fabric shop in our town. I made the dress on order, but the pattern parts just didn't fit. I had to make the whole dress all over, on my own expense, using another pattern. I am a well known tailor and own my own business for nearly 20 years. I asked three other dressmakers to have a look at the pattern. They came up with the same problem I had. I feel that this is totally unexeptable and unprofessional on Vogue's part, seeing that Vogue Patterns are the most expensive patterns and are suppose to be " classy and elagant and stylish".
I had previous negative experience with Vogue patterns- once again parts that didn't fit,- missing parts in new uncut patterns. I also know for sure that I am not the only complaing customer. I e-mailed a complain to Vogue Patterns on 01-06-2007. This experience is not good for either my name as a professional, or my business.Up untill today I had no feedback from Vogue Patterns. What am I to do?
