On Dec 3, 2010 Voice Net Global sent an unauthorized charge to my account.  Over the past few days i have contacted them by email to find out why.  Original email sent to support.dbg@gmail.com


They tell me i went to a payday site, www.citywestfinancial.com, and on their site is an offer to sign up for voice net global.  This is an internet service combined with long distance phone service.  I am happy with my current internet service and would not have even considered switching.  As far as phone, i use a prepaid tracfone that i would not have been able to set up long distance service on.


In one of the emails they sent me they screwed up and gave me the email address they sent the authorization to, roadrunnerjr1971@yahoo.com.  This is not my email address, far from it.  They also sent these email from another companys email address, support@directbenefitsonline.com. 


When i called the 800 number for customer service though, they claimed they sent the authorization email to my correct address, but as you see, i have proof otherwise.


This charge was returned due to insufficent funds causing a fee from my bank.  They claim they are not responsible for covering this charge as it was not paid to them.  It may not have been paid directly to them but it is their fault it is there.


I have an appoitment this saturday with someone from the fraud department at my bank.  I will post what happens here.


This is now twice this company has tried to steal from me and i will not stop until they get what is coming to them.
