I went to Voice Stream to get a cell phone, where I thought was a good service, how wrong I was!!! I Had my children with me that day to get a cell phone, which was my first one that I ever got!! I was over looking at the phones to buy and the salesmen, which may I add, that really don't care about the customer, just if they sell the Phone!!!!

So, I found a phone that I liked and the salemen took me to the front to sell me the phone and contract, he printed out the contract and showed me how the phone worked and everything looked great.. He told me when I get home to charge the phone up atleast 12 hours, so I did.. the only time that the phone was turned on was at the store and it worked great. So we turned it off and took the phone home and started to charge it! I was staying in between places, my place and my girlfriends at the time, while I was at her house the phone worked great, I was there for about a week and a half..

When I went back to my house, which may I add was 1 mile from the mall where I bought it, the phone had NO service(( at my house)) Soon I found out I had no service at my childrens house, my work or on my way to either place... I took the phone back after I found this out and told them that I didn't have service where I needed it and wanted to cancel, so they asked if the salemen asked where you would be using it and I said NO, that he didn't, so they cancelled it and I gave them the phone back!!!!

2 monthes later I got a bill from them for service for the last 2 month... I called them and told them that I returned the phone and cancelled the service, so they asked if I would pay for the minutes that I used, so I did, without a problem!!!!!

Then two months after that I got a letter from FCS which all of you, I'm sure have heard of them,, telling me that they are to collect money for voice stream,,, I told them the story and have been hung up on, I have also talked to voice stream and have been dealing with this for the last 6 months, I have talked to both of them 5 times each and have gotten no where, so now I have turned this over to Consumers Affairs and now will let them deal with them..

In short, they cancelled the cancelation fee, gave my money back for the phone, and keep changing the reason why I should pay them the two months of service, when I didn't have the phone!!! They now say The bill is for me cancelling after 72 hours, That I owe them 2 months!!!! I WILL NOT PAY THEM!!!!
