I also received unknown $12.95 monthly charges to my phone bill.

I called the source of these charges, VoiceExpress, Inc., as well as Enhanced Services Billing Company, Inc. AT&T reported that they are required to list these charges, though they do not come directly from AT&T.

They reported that a person I know (including a correct mother's maiden name) signed up online for a private voice mailbox/888 # -- and charged this to my phone #. When I asked for the website address where this was done, they referred me to "PopularLiving.com". But when I accessed this website, there was no link to VoiceExpress, Inc. So I called back and asked them why no link appeared, and it was reported that they only advertise "every now and then" on that particular website, and may not be currently doing so.

Bottomline: 1) Either the person who charged my # for their personal mailbox is being fraudulent, or 2)VoiceExpress Inc. and their billing service is a ripoff company.

Am curious about others who have experienced the same problems...?
