I cancelled my VoiceStream celluar service in April and had a credit balance of $26.33. I was told that I wouldn't be able to get the balance until 60 days. After 60 days a check would be cut and mailed to my attention.

After 60 days I didn't hear anything from VoiceStream, I sent an email to Customer Care requesting the refund. I received a reply saying that a request to process it was forwarded. Few weeks later I followed up and received an email that said that the refund should have been processed and to be patient. Few weeks later I followed up again and was told that I should receive it in a few weeks. Instead all I received was a bill that said I have a credit for $26.33- but no check!

After not receiving anything for a month, I called, the first call, the customer 'care' rep hung up on me. The second one said he will send Accounting an email to see if the check was cashed and to replace it if it wasn't and to call back after a week. After a week, I called to follow up and was told the notes on my account showed no such email. After few days, I got a bill that said there was a one time charge for $26.33- but it didn't say for what!

I called and the Supervisor wouldn't talk to me! So much for customer care.
