Voicestream Ripoff - This company is full of useless liars

On Oct 17, 2001, after my one year contract w/ Voicestream was up, I requested a refund of the $250 deposit they required me when I first opened my acct. The criteria for a full refund of the deposit are as follows: (Per "Larry" a Rep on the Web Correspondence team)account must be in service for one year with deposit held for one year, must have good payment history, no late payments for that year. Account must be current. I met all of these qualifications. On 10/28/01, I was told once it was approved, I would have my check within 2-3 weeks - again per the same Rep. Larry. On 11/4/01 Larry changed his tune and told me it would now take 4-6 weeks. On 11/21/01 I received word that the refund had been approved and I would have a check within 2-3 weeks. Now, if you do the math, three weeks from 11/21/01 would have been 12/12/01. It is now 1/20/02, 8 weeks later and still I have no check.

I have been given so many different BS stories, that it isn't even funny. I have had Reps tell me the check was mailed to the wrong address (one told me Tampa, AL and another told me Tampa, GA).....their advice - "well it has your correct zip code, it will arrive EVENTUALLY". Then, I had another Rep - Jeremy, tell me a check had been mailed on 11/16/01. Then yet another rep tell me just last week that NO CHECK had EVER been mailed.

I have been hung up on by a "Team Lead" after being on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get this situation resolved. I have been promised call back after call back by all kinds of "Supervisors" - guess how many have followed through???? None! The customer service is disgusting - no one wants to help get this situation resolved. They flat out lie to you - I have had reps tell me that no supervisors have direct lines, yet another rep gave me his supervisors direct line - too bad every time I try to call him his voice mail box ius full - can't imagine why.

All I want is my money back - I am tired of waiting and getting the run around. To be honest with you, overall this company sucks and if you are planning to get a wireless acct - go ELSEWHERE!!!!!
