VoiceStream Wireless ripoff the business that doesn't give a d**n about it's employees Allentown Pennsylvania
Every rotten word ever spoken about Voicestream Wireless is the truth. That place does not care one bit about it's employees. I have been there almost 3 years now and it just keeps getting worse and worse everyday. Wanna know what they do when they wanna weed out bad employees? They have what they call a shift bid. Normally it's just a pain in the a$$ type thing. This time, no such luck.
The shift bid they are going to have now isn't by seniority, the way it should be, it's by your handle times, attendance and other things. The worst part is, there are some excellant workers there, that take their time w/the customer, help them in every way possible and then get screwed because their CRT is too high. Why should an employee get shafted when they were on the call a little long, but it solved the customers problem and prevented a call back later?
The company makes no sense. They lose good employees every day or they fire them if they look at someone in higher management the wrong way. Some people in management haven't been in the business long enough to powercycle a phone. They get to keep their 9-5 hours, Monday thru Friday. They don't care who else has a family..as long as they get to sit home, alongside their pool popping bon bons and smokin' thier joint..it's all good.
I read another report here who listed that if the company finds out that you write one of these, you get in trouble. It's the truth. It happen to a few other reps in this call center. Everyone has the right to their opinion. I believe I was born a US Citizen, but I guess when you work for a company like this, you lose all your rights.
You can be sexually harrassed, report it and the person takes a few months off for mental issues, then comes back w/a clean slate. How is that right? It's not. As long as you bend over when asked, you will get anywhere in that company.
Another wonderful thing is they start speciality departments, tell you what a wonderful job that department is doing, then 2 months later, take away your shift differential and shut it down. So you are either stuck going back to customer care, where you started three years ago, go to tech support or leave. Let me just say, from what I heard, everyone would like to take the best option and leave.
One last thing before I go. I would like to say "F U" to everyone in upper management who said that they didn't need Senior Reps. ISL,ha ha ha ha. What a joke. Seniors are needed, did their jobs and helped those idiot reps more than anyone else. As a former senior, I salute you!

Ok As I am sitting here reading this stuff I say to myself ok yes in a way they are correct. And day after day I take calls in a department that seems to be the only department that bothers to read the information that voicestream provides to help out customers. I get reps on the phone that call up because they don't know something well hello read your resources that is what it is there for.
What can't you read!!!!!!!!!!! and as far as this shift bid thing ok so they don't go by senority anymore so what if your doing your job correctly you have nothing to worry about if not then they don't need you with or without senority I have the pick of the litter of shifts.
Voicestream is a company that yes needs better communication but at the same time as an employee you have to do your part you come to work to wokr and get paid not to sit and complain about everything around you if you don't like then leave if you don't leave then it's you fault thats all I have to say.
