You left out alot of info. And your dates dont match up. When was this boat originally purchased new? Also it doesnt matter how many hours are on the engine. If you dry start the motor you will fry the rubber impellar in the water pump. If the boat was more than two years old when you got it. You should have replaced the impellar. Just a suggestion--you should rear all the owners manuels and warranty info on the boat. FYI--I was previously a service manager for a very large boat dealership and we never had any problems getting reimbursed for Volvo warranty claims.
