Complaint Review: VON'S AUSTIN HEALEY RESTORATIONS AKA VON PATTERSON

Von patterson, d/b/a von's austin healey restoration & repairs claims on his website, "we don't seek perfection, we've captured it." my experience & that of numerous other people i have spoken with show's what a liar von patterson is. he claims to be an expert in the repair of austin healeys & jaguars. i took my 1974 jaguar e-type to patterson for an engine rebuild, interior work and transmission repair. instead of the driveable car i requested, after an expenditure of at least twice what the work was worth if done properly, i have an engine that is in danger of blowing up.

afterwards, i learned a mechanic who had never before rebuilt a v-12 engine attempted to rebuild mine. parts constantly were not even secured with screws, upholstery work shortcut by incompetents, etc, etc. parts disappeared from mine and cars of others. patterson in his deposition stated neither he nor any of his employees have taken any courses or had any training by others in the repairs he claims to be an expert on. he has numerous individuals who feel cheated of money & just importantly of the use of cars they tendered to him for repair. patterson needs to be exposed for the crook that he is.
