This is similar to other complaints on this site about a similar/exact experience.On May 4, 2015 we in an effort to replace an aging business phone system in a 65 year old building moved to replace our hardwire phone system with Amanda Shaw, Sales. Detailed descriptions of the building a wire/wiring challenges were reviewed by me. I told them I needed wireless phones as their was no existing Ethernet wiring. Been in this business/bldg 28 years. No chance of miscommunication. Agreed to Deal with Vonage along with TOS for 10 phones. Phones shipped all requiring Ethernet wiring on May 14, 2015. Ported phones eliminating phone service in our Mental Health Business. Begged Vonage technicians tried work arounds, it was a no go. Vonage (Amanda Shaw) alleged we had provided incorrect information. We have been in the building 2+ years and know every challenge. By hardwiring a single phone into the router we were able to connect a single phone briefly quality was awful and interment. Because our licensing and insurance contract requires 24 hr service to clients (Health Iss) we immediately move to cancel the contract. Comcast provided us an immediate work around. Not a single call not service related was attempted or placed. 15 Days later the contract was cancelled in a 2-3 hour phone call I recorded. I agreed that I felt somewhat resp. and said I would try and resell phones as they would not allow return. We paid 704.97. I said are we done? No more nonsense it didn't work out thats that. Their CS rep said you pay for the phones and I said I did and I am stuck with that. After our 3 hour chat we parted company. On 6/28/2015 while travelling I noted 1165.34 bill to my credit card which I the cancelled. On 7/2/2015 on return I called and complained. Elizabeth CS told me that charge was for "the phones" which I said was absurd. Also noted and not disputed not only were wrong phones sent but NOT A SINGLE CALL WAS MADE. I said I was detailed enough in my first call to be assured no additional charges pending. I was told I am the only person to dispute with and I am doing nothing for you.
