I have not had any connection problems with Vonage, the thing works ok.

My current issue is with their billing. I noticed this month that my bill was different from last months, so I reviewed them. I have had vonage for three months and the first month was full of all the start costs...no biggie.

My 1st bill charged me for 1.50 Regulatory Reocvery Fee, so did the second, but this last bill I was only charged .99 for the same fee. So I checked the Billing FAQ section of the website. It says the regulatory recovery fee is only .99 per line.

Hmm. so I made the attempt to contact Vonage's customer service. If I knew I was going to need to speak a foreign language to communication with them I might have thought twice about signing up for the service. Anyways, the not so easily understood CSR was comparable to "Seinfield's Soup n**i".

When I inquired about the RRF, to see if perhaps it had just changed, he promtply said the RRF was$1.50, please hold click. 5 minutes later. "Where are you getting this information from?"

On the Vonage.com website I said. "please hold", I kid you not 12 minutes later he comes back and just starts disagreeing with me. You are not correct! he said. I said fine, its only 51cents, for the frustration I can live without it.

Then it dawned on my that perhaps I might not be the only one Vonage had done this to. So here I am telling every Govt. agency and consumer fraud center about it.
