Vonage Telephone Company Unbelievably rude, poor costumer service if you can finally reach them and get a response! Won't return $$ and plan to charge more!! ripoff Groveport Ohio
I signed up for Vonage basicaly because I was told I could keep my phone number and they offered an inexpensive service. The following day they sent me an e-mail stating I could not keep my phone number.
I responded that due to the fact that I was running a business out of my home, I could not use their service. I specifically told them that I wanted to "cancel" my request for service.
I sent them numerous e-mails after they continued to e-mail me regarding my "account". Repeating each time that I could not use their services. "Cancel" They took $49.00 out of my debit account but still did not respond to my numerous e-mails.
When I tried to reach them by phone I would get a recording that I had a 25 minute wait. Just before my 25 minutes were up the line would go dead. They are now trying to bill me $29.99. When I finally reached someone they told me they were billing me for a $99.00 termination of service fee! I could not believe how rude and persistant they were.
