Complaint Review: Vonage - - The Broadband Phone Company

Here goes have been through all the terrible customer service experiences that everyone else who deals with Vonage has done.  You can however fight them at their own game.  I sucessfully terminated service with them with no termination fee.  I must say it was a fight numerous phone calls on my cell phone (due to inoperable vonage service).  First of all you need to realize you are dealing with a contracted call service not a vonage employee.  Secondly they are in the Phillipenes not in the USA.  The company is VXI their corperate number is 888-489-4872 for complaints.  Don't file a complaint in the call center it will be ignored.  There is nothing in their terms of service that require you to do any trouble shooting.  Tell them you are not qualified.  They then become in violation of their own terms of service which then makes them the one terminating service not you.  I refused to even speak to tech support.  Secondly there are class action lawsuits out there for those who have paid the termination fee.  Google will pull up many links.  There are also settlements out there for those who have been through the ringer with this company.  Hurry though submissions must be made through your states attorneys office my MARCH 16 2010.  Thirty two states are involved AL,AZ,AR,CT,FL,HI,ID,IL,IN,KS,KY,LA,ME,MI,MO,MT,NH,NJ,NM,NC,ND,OH,OR,PA,SC,SD,TN.TX,

VT,WA,WI,WV.  I encourage everyone to apply that feels entitled.  Money is involved.  If nothing else it takes money out of their pocket no matter the amount.  The vonage contact number promised is 732-639-6822.  I have been transfered back to the Phillipenes from that number stated that was promised to speak with someone in New Jersey repeated this number and was transfered to New Jersey.  Put the number at the end so everyone would have to read how to win the fight before picking up the phone and calling.    I have also had other issues with them which I intend to pursue which will cost them big dollars.  Remember write everything down names, date, time, call details.  Everyone needs to follow though and together we can put this poor quality, unethical company out of buisness.  So what are you waiting for call!  Be patient and persistant you will also be victorious.  Most states attorneys have a web page view it in Indiana ours has a link to file a complaint online.  Karma is a B@#$H.  Give it to em.  Sorry for those looking for detailed complaint figured this would help more.
