Voortman Ive never been a huge fan of using ginger but on the other hand In proportioned amounts it rules supreme in cookies and gingerbread houses. What disappointment finding every pronounceable ingredient except ginger. edible fraud Ontario B.C.
I feel that I speak for the millions out there who have a sweet tooth, Drool factor when I mention certain holidays. One day I received a box of voortman cookies.( Discount price) usually sold for 3-4 dollars was in this case reduced to $1.49 Price was written heavy handidly with a sharpie. Im to busy opening the box and child proof packaging. Im noth immediately concerned with the mess Im making or the expiration date.
Half way through the box out of curiosity, Im drawn towards the ingredients totally ignoring the nutitional facts
which by the ways defeats the muchiable experience... Every ingredient was pronounceable -stuff you would find at any large grocery chain. heres the kicker, ginger bread cookies should have ginger in the ingredients. I hate when these companies play the whole some card when in reality there products are mas produces whith little care for the consumer just as long as health inspectors dont make any suprise visits.or xrayed for metal debri or the odd critter doesnt end up as part of the packaging, by the way they are allowed a certain percentage of insects that might make there way into a batch, How else would you ge that world renowned signature crunch
