I was ripped off of 100's of dollars by this scam team of VRBO and Jill Stanley. American laws do not apply to VRBO and they can and will do whatever they want with your credit card I cancelled less than a day after booking but they charged my credit card for a 1 week stay anyway, despite well documented cancellation.
