I have an online business in China, but I live in the U.S. I had been searching for a company that sells email addresses of potential consumers in China for a mass mailing campaign. I found vselldatabase.com and they claimed to have a database of 2,000,000 emails for only $400. I told him I was looking for emails for potential customers in China who were between 20-45 years of age, professional, and interested in learning about western lifestyle. I realize that this isn't much money but because many of these companies seem a little shady, I didn't want to risk wiring a large amount of money and end up with nothing. The person at Vselldatabase.com is named Alex (who knows if that's really his name). We traded several emails and he seemed to be responsive. I asked for a sample database with a few names and he quickly sent me an excel spreadsheet with a number of contacts there - everything seemed legit. So, he sent me an invoice and I sent him a wire for $400 US dollars.

It took a full week before he said he received it. He sent me an email and told me that he would send me the database within 24 hours. 24 hours passes, and I have to remind him several times before he actually sends me a file. I open the file, and it's basically loaded with manufacturer's names that seemed like he just went to Alibaba.com and started cutting and pasting. Very few emails, and those that were there, were basically anonymous company email addresses like support@xxx.com, meaning most of the emails that were there were worthless.

vselldatabase.com is a scam. Stay far away from this one. Fortunately, I didn't lose too much money but hopefully you'll read this review before you get ripped off by this guy.

Vselldatabase.com is a ripoff!
