I purchased a Smart Trio Car Kit ($199.99) and a Smart Bluetooth Speakerphone ($100.00) from the i-Play Tunes in Fashion Valley. After trying out the items in my car I was unhappy with the performance of the products (poor voice clarity, excessive background noise). When I attempted to return the items for credit less than 3 days after purchase my request was denied.

When I tried to call their customer service number all I received was a recording. No one available to help me. When I called the corporate office in Canoga Park the phone number was disconnected. Still no help.

I expect Vtex Global Inc is operating within the laws of the land, but I feel their business practices are terrible; they offer zero customer satisfaction; and at minimum they are untrustworthy.

I have returned the merchandise to them. Now they have their merchandise back and they have my money. Unfortunately, I do not know what to do next to force Vtex Global to do the right thing. Help!

A Bit of Satisfaction

The post script on my original report is that I finally found someone at Vtec Global/iPlay Tunes that granted me the credit that I originally had asked for. So I at least feel financially whole. However, the lingering bad taste in my mouth for what I had to go through to get satisfaction is still there.

I will always believe the only reason I received credit for the merchandise I returned was because they knew I was not going to just quietly let them take advantage of me. They have their merchandise back and I have my money back. I guess we are even. I would never consider doing business with them ever again however. It is simply not worth the hassle.
