Well I have been though all the scams this horrible thieving bank could ever pull on someone. The hardship they have put me through during these tough economic times is unfathomable. Regardless of the reason I am still with them..mainly due to my direct deposit account which takes 2 weeks to change I have delayed it..I should have been done with this bank long ago.
When Wells Fargo merged I thought maybe things would improve..well check out this mess...
Tonight I go to the Wells Fargo branch near me to withdraw $300 cash towards rent. The machine says something like "this transaction can not be completed at this time..try again later" or something to that effect. So I try the machine next to it..same thing. I figure maybe the system is down or the machines are out of cash..okay, that can happen, no biggie.
So I go to the 7/11 ATM and for some reason it will not let me withdraw $300..but it lets me take $200.. now I am puzzled, I know how much is in my account and it is more then $300 for sure.
So as soon as I get home I log on to Wachovia.com to check my statement online..and it say the $300 withdrawal from the Wells Fargo ATM is being processed..which would explain why I could only get $200 from the 7/11..my limit is $500 per day.
So I call the bank (always fun..at least 20 minutes to get a human on the phone) and am told "the system is down but I will lodge a dispute..you should have your money back in 2-3 days" SHOULD!!! 2-3 DAYS!! It's my money. If I held $300 dollars of their money for 3 days because of something that messed up on my end..do you know how much in fees that would total?? Anyhow if I do not get this money back soon I will face hardships..not to mention the time and gas to drive to the bank and deal with this..the stress and aggravation...what is with these banks?? Don't they realize how many of us live paycheck to paycheck..or is this just another way they have figured out how to further fleece us. I am so pissed off..but wait..there's more...
I was obsessing over this and was reading over the statement..and realize now that for years..every time I have been using my ATM card at a "non-Wachovia" machine..not only was I paying the fee that the machine makes you agree too..but these sons of bitches have been charging me an additional $2.00 per transaction ON TOP OF the ATM fee itself. What a bunch of crooks..how is any of this legal?????

I take back one thing I said. Our tax dollars did not go to Wachovia.... directly. Wachovia simply FAILED and were subsequently purchased. Hmmm...did the current owners of Wachovia reiceve any tax dollar bailout???..
..well here is the answer not from me..but copied off CBS news dated Feb 9, 2009...
"Wells Fargo hit the jackpot. It was one of the first banks to get bailout funds - the biggest amount awarded in a single shot: $25 billion tax dollars."
"Troubled Wachovia has been bought out by Wells Fargo for $12.7 billion, creating the nation's second-largest bank in terms of deposits. But it might not have happened without the generous support of the federal government and your tax dollars".
I doubt anyone will try to rebut that..but if anyone does..take it up with CBS news and/or Katie Couric, as that is were this was copied from.

This Wells Fargo/Wachovia ATM did not rumble.
I put the card in..requested to withdraw $300.00...screen says "transaction can not be completed"..card comes back out, no receipt. Wachovia debits my account $300.00..and now makes me wait and fight for 8 days and counting to get it credited back.
Yeah..great bank. Wonderful customer service. I might as well flush my money down the toilet..at least watching it swirl will be something, this rip off is just a stressful waste of my time and causing me undo hardship and struggle, I have so had it with this horrible bank. Bad enough my tax dollars have to bail them out..now they just take it directly from the ATM transaction?
Guess the re-sequencing scam is not profitable enough?

They took back the "Provisional" refund and I had no access to my funds since Friday night. This is now going on for 8 days. The avalanche of fees from the re sequencing has kicked in full force leaving my account $245 in the red..in addition to the $300 I never received. As well I have some auto pays coming in..they will surely go NSF..this is really a problem and I don't get paid until Thursday.
My paycheck is direct deposit..so if this is not settled by then..they will steal that too. This is crazy, I have never heard of such ineptness from a bank before.
It makes me wish things were like they used to be before computers and machines took over..and these "humans" I call up are powerless and apparently not as smart as the machines. I should cash my checks and keep the cash in my mattress..that seems the safest way these day. I got sucked into online banking and direct bill paying and direct deposit to make my life simpler and more convenient...what a joke, it is a non-stop battle, always one thing or the other.

About seven or eight years ago I banked at Wells Fargo and I had to withdraw $300 from an ATM for rent. I heard the machine rumble as the money was being processed and then it reset itself. I called the bank while standing in front of the machine and they said that the machine would have to be manually verified.
It took several days but the money was credited back to my account. You'll be fine.

Next day. The money has still not been returned. Online statement says the $300.00 is still "processing" b*****d thieves. YES..I called them THEIVES. If they are holding my money and not allowing access to it..I can't think of a better word. Their ATM machines do not dispense the cash, but charged it to my account..nice, this is a new one.
