This bank is definitly ripping costumer off whith NFS fees and when you call for an explanation they cannot give you an answer or explanation of why transations are held. They try to make you feel like you don't know what your talking about even though in my case I AM AN ACCOUNTANT. Even I checking my account every day was not enough to stop this "bank" from playing with my account by holding debits or credits and charge my account with these fees and having the ordacity to try to give my these scenarios, not facts, of what could have happended. By the end of each complaint the result was, I got some back but always had to pay something or I hung up out of frustration because I was talking to a cocky idiot or a secuence of transactions retard. With the conversations that I had with some of these reps, I would not be surprised if they are actually trained to talk around dates, transactions or logic long enough to frustrate a anger management guru.

Online banking didn't rip you off...

Overdrafting your account did. What did your written ledger tell you? Did that balance match your online balance? I'm guessing it didn't.

As an accountant, you surely kept a ledger.

If you are really an accountant

IF you really ARE an account, shame on you. YOU should know better. You should be keeping a check register and reconciling your bank statement every month. AND you SHOULD KNOW how the banks work. I have a clue for all of you. The customer service peopel really do NOT know how things work at the bank, for the most part, unless they have actually worked in item proseccing.
