Was financed thru WFS in 2005, the frist contract was done by the car lot. They called me back in and said WFS financial wanted me to sign another contract and void the other one bacause they wanted the gap insurance placed on the car. So I did and WFS also put their car insurance on the car.

So I had my Insurance and they had thier car insurance plus the gap. The car was involved in car accident in 11-2005 which was not my fault my car was total this draged on for almost one year of an insurance mess with WFS their insurance the gap insurance as well as the other party insurance. As much coverage this vechical had on it I should owe nothing but WFS keeps on and on that I do owe.

When I tryed to find out what was going on they would not send me the paper work on it or explain anything to me. WFS contacted me and said I needed to sign another contract I said" on what? They said while were waiting for the insurance stuff to clear on the other loan they said I needed to save my credit and sign a new contract. This draged on for awhile and I finaly signed the other contract.

Then everthing finshed and WFS says I still owe them money. I kept questioning them why I still owe money they cant seem to explain anything to me. But they no how to call me at work and harrass me. I would recieve more then 10 phone calls a day from them. I should of called and put a police report in, 10 phone calls at a place of bussiness a day is harrassement. They threaten to come and reposes the car and told me I would not have a car to go to work in.

Funny the car was at a storage place by the insurance company. I told them go ahead take it" This went on for months. Then one day I came home from work and my car was in my drive way which is totalled and then they mailed me the pink slip. Why? Then do they continue to say I owe them money?. And now threatning to sue me.

READ YOUR CONTRACTS

You would be less frustrated if you read your contract.
First if you had outside insurance why would you pay for both our force placed policy as well as your insurance. If you sent us proof, why not follow up on it. We do put due dilligence by calling them. We have hundreds accounts to verify a day. Learn to follow up and make sure that problem is fixed.
Also read what you sign before you sign it. Per your gap contract they will not pay out the claim if you have force placed insurance. YOu did have force placed insurance so they are not paying. Don't blame the company beacuse of your laziness.

Read your contract!!

I work for Wachovia in the collections department. If you would read your contracts you would not have half the stress and problems that you had to go through.

If you had outside insurance then you would need to notify our insurance company that you have that. And making one phone call does not mean that it is taken care of. Step up, be an adult, and follow up, make sure that it is taken care of.

Per your gap contract (if you read it), it clearly states that if you have a force placed policy they will not pay out the gap claim, as well as if you ever had any late payments( even a day) or deferments they will not cover those.
You blame our company for your frustration when if you clearly read what you signed you would have know this from the beginning.
