Wachovia bank was charging me $20 per month for Crown Access Banking because I didn't satisfy their $5000 balance limit. I decided to switch to Free Checking and the customer service person explained that I get 4 teller visits a month, and anything after that would be a $2 fee. That was all I was told. Well, I found out the hard way that I'm charged if I contant the company by telephone and speak to a live person. Even if I'm calling to explain a mistake on their part!

Was also NOT told that if I use another bank card (mine, from another account) on a Wachovia teller machine, I will be charged an additional $2, on top of the $2.50 the machine charged me! Just because they knew I had an account with them.

Was also NOT told that even if I make a balance inquiry , not even taking any money out, I will be charged $2. Not to mention the fact that I'm charged $2 on top of the ATM fee I'm being charged from another bank's ATM. What the hell kind of bank is this?

Its not even worth the hassle. And when I contact the customer service, I was told to go to a grocery store and buy a pack of gum, and use the cash back button. And what if I'm in the middle of nowhere? This bank couldn't care less about their customers!
