White Van Speaker Scam.  Sell Worthless speakers to innocent victims. Wahldorf Home theater speakers 305t. Sellers make you believe you are purchasing a $2000 worth system for a fraction of the price. They will tell you that they have extra inventory they must get rid of. I have reported License plate number to the police.  Hopefully they will get caught

I am a law student living in Davie, FL, and I was just conned in the exact scam described here, which has also been documented on several other websites.  I tend to be a target for the type of aggressive sales tactics used in this scam, and usually don't even consider what a person is trying to sell me.  The Waldorf speakers and advertisements just seemed so legitimate here, and the guy caught me at a weak moment, because I've been wanting to buy a surround-sound system.

Anyway, I too got the guy's license plate #, and was wondering if you've had any luck?  I don't think the police can do much in these cases, though. The scammers don't appear to be violating any criminal laws, and the vans are rented.  A civil suit, preferrably against the distributor and/or manufacturer, would definitely be a good option.  Anyone with information about WahlDorf Home Theater (particularly an address) please let me know!
